When we arrived home, I ran to my room as fast as I could and almost fell down the stairs
because I was not used to the strength of Jennas legs.
Once inside, I tried to open the battery compartment, and found my next problem. It was not
a regular battery.
"Shit now I'm stuck like this"
But then I noticed a QR code printed on the back side of the watch.
After scanning it with my smartphone, I got an address not far from what were the garage sale
was and a phone number.
"This has to be the brother, this guy at the sale was talking about! Maybe he can fix this thing!"
I took my smart phone and dialed the number.
"Dr. Peter Roberts, how can I help?" said a friendly sounding man over the line.
"Hello, my name is John Walker. I think I bought one of your inventions, a watch, from your brother
on a garage sale." I answered.
"Oh God, what was Carl thinking? He isn't supposed to sell my inventions. So, what's the problem?"
"Well, I played around with it and now I've got my sister's legs and the battery is empty."
"Wow, that's not good. Luckily I've got a spare one at my house. There is just one problem,
I'm currently on a convention in Hawaii and won't be back until tomorrow. Do you think you can
cope with your condition for the rest of the day?"
"Well, nobody seemed to notice anything out of order and I'm not exactly in pain. It's just really
weird having all her ... parts."
"Do you mean you've got her... plumbing too?"
"Yes."
"I didn't think it could do this. I will come back as fast as I can, just hold on, John."
After that he hung up.
"Well, at least I'm not stuck forever. Maybe I should do something to kill the time."
