"Excuse Me?" Casey asked.
Thinking of the pornographic books that he had hid under his mattress. "Nothing." She puts the stone in her purse, along with her checkbook, and heads home.
"Jon, I never would have thought you would apply here as a 'Shampoo girl'", Karyn says looking up as John, as he is rinsing her hair from the conditioner.
"Me, neither" Jon says as he firmly squeezes the water from her hair and wraps her hair in a town feeling aroused by the thought of touching Karyn's hair.
"Casey", Shane says, "can you set Miss Karyn's hair while I finish Jenny's hair?"
Surprised at her luck today, "Yes, mam!"
"Jon, you will need to answer the phone. Do you know what to say?" Jon shakes his head no. "You say, 'Barbi's boutique. How may I help you' Then you check the calendar and see if there is an opening. Now you try it"
Embarrassed Jon says "Barbi's boutique. How may I help you."
Smiling the girls all chime in that he sounds too masculine, and needs to have a lighter voice when he answers the phone, more like Casey's.
Jon tried to object, but Shane stopped him, and asked Casey to say it, and then asked Jon try it again. Embarrassed to no end, Jon uses a feminine tone and sounds like Casey. The girls are impressed, and as Casey sets Karyn's hair, Karyn asks "But what are you going to do when the ladies come in to have there hair shampooed buy the new shampoo girl, only to find Joh?"
Shane looked over to Jon, and said, "Karyn, you have a point there. What do you suggest that we do?"
Remembering the stone and how it changed her, Karyn wishes that she had the stone to show Jon how it felt to have long hair. "Well, it's not really short hair, you could set it and make it look more presentable."
Jon, tries to stop this, but before he can say anything Shane asks, "Jon, would you mind being a little less masculine while you are here?"
"No mam", Jon couldn't believe what he was saying.
Karyn froze not believing what she was hearing. Shane, felt a slight curiosity and asked "Jon, would you like to go in the back and put on one of the dresses?"
Jon was totally embarrassed and said "NO! I'm not a fairy" and Shane let it go for now since the hair dryer clicked off, and the phone rang. Listening, she heard Jon answer the phone in a soft feminine voice, just as she had asked.
