Larry gripped the stone and starred at it. A muscle twitched over his newly acquired bright blue eyes, and his feminine lips pulled back in a sneer of frustration. "Why did you turn me into that imbecile's brat of a sister!? Curse you, you incompetent lump of mineral. Curse you!"

"Good job, idiot."

At the sound of that familiar voice, Larry spun around to find the real Zoe standing there with a smirk on her face.

"Wha- How the devil did you get in here?" He demanded.

"This is my house, Nadish," replied Zoe with a roll of her eyes. "Why wouldn't I be here? You, on the other hand, shouldn't be here, which is why your wish of looking like you belonged here made you look like me."

"It should have given me Jon's appearance instead! This is his room! Why did it choose you?"

Zoe shrugged. "Probably because Mom was looking for me? I dunno. Whatever the reason, you really shot yourself in the foot this time."

"Silence, insufferable wench," snapped Larry. "Your disrespectful attitude has been a thorn in my side for far too long." Holding up the stone, he sneered. "I wish that you would become my obedient slave!"

To his surprise, just when the stone flashed, Zoe reached out a hand and gestured. A ball of light appeared in her palm which she then crushed like an eggshell. "In your dreams, Nadish."

"Impossible!" Shrieked Larry, pulling at his long hair in melodramatic distress. "How did you resist the power of the stone?"

Zoe quirked an eyebrow. "How do you think?"

"Magic! So my original suspicions were correct. You did possess magical talent. But when I requested your tutelage, you told me you couldn't do it! So I'd assumed you lacked any true skill!"

"I wouldn't call trying to blackmail me a request. Besides, I didn't lie to you. I couldn't teach you because you're un-teachable. All that megalomania gets in the way of any kind of learning. That stone, for instance. You've only had it for a minute, and now look at you. Or look at 'me' might be more appropriate now."

"I won't stand for your mockery, woman!" Larry growled.

Zoe gave a smirk. "That would sound so much more impressive if it wasn't in my voice."

Her reluctant clone brandished the stone. "When I get my own body back, I'll make you pay for this. I'll-"

Suddenly, Zoe darted forward and snatched the stone from his grip. "I don't think so, idiot. First of all, I don't think you'll be getting your body back anytime soon. I wish that Larry would keep this form, minus my magical ability, until I wish otherwise."

The stone flashed. Larry stared dumbfounded. "Why would you do such a thing!?"

"Well, it's not permanent, and your little predicament gave me an idea. My mom's been forcing me to go to one of those lame formal parties, some charity event or other. I, however, have no intention of going. I also have no intention of being grounded for not showing up. So, that's where you come in."

Larry blanched as he deduced what she had in mind. "You're mad! I would never assist you!"

"I don't know about that." Zoe held the stone up. "I wish "
