Ms Deighton stopped suddenly, and then stared directly at the back of the classroom. As I looked at her, I noticed something odd happening to her face. It wasn't noticeable at first, but I saw what was going on - she was turning plastic!
Her face froze in a stare, and her skin gradually became harder and shinier. Her hair turned to nylon fibres, her eyes became lifeless patches of paint, and I saw her hands become rigid and glossy. A scar appeared on her wrist, which deepened and eventually became a seam for the join between her hand and arm parts. The transformation was complete, and the mannequin of Ms Deighton fell backwards. When the platic body hit the ground, its head popped out of its socket and scooted along the polished floor.
The classroom gasped, one of the girls screamed,a nother fainted. I took this as an opportunity to find who took my wishing rock, and left the room.
On my way to my locker, I took a peek at the neighbouring classroom. I saw a mannequin of Mr Graham, frozen in place, propped up by his desk which he must have been leaning on at the time. No one in the class seemed quite sure what to do.
So someone had wished all the teachers were mannequins? Who would do that and why? No one knew I ahd the rock in school, hell no one knew it even existed apart from me and Karyn! It wouldn't have been Karyn, would it?
Well, When I reached my locker, I found my answer.....
