"This'll be great," said Karyn to John, a little too loud and a little too proud of herself.
What happened was that it got Sarah's attention. What didn't happen was that Sean marched up to Sarah and began to shout at her. Sarah did, though, get a rather insidious smile on her face.

"That's everything?" said Sarah.

Tears were now streaking down Karyn's face.
"Yes," she said.

"Why didn't my wish work," she angrily demanded.
"You can't undo anything that has already been wished," added Karyn with no control, "You can only add to a previous wish."
