Ms Deighton stopped suddenly, and then stared directly at the back of the classroom. As I looked at her, I noticed something odd happening to her face. It wasn't noticeable at first, but I saw what was going on - she was getting younger!
The change was so subtle, but I was right next to her. She didn't look much older my age now, as if she'd just lost 5 years, but still she grew younger. She lost a couple of inches in height, which made all her once-form-fitting blouse look baggy on her. Her chest shrank about a cup size too, though she didn't have particularly large breasts to begin with. The transformation came to an end when she looked about the same age as I was, a little younger maybe. She looked herself over, squealed with fear and ran out of the classroom. I think she was crying!
The rest of the classroom cheered. Someone yelled, "No more teacher!" and the rest of the class started to mess around. I took my books and rushed out of the room.
On my way to my locker, I took a peek at the neighbouring classroom, to see a 16-year old dressed up as Mr. Graham trying to keep control of a rowdy classroom. I stifled a laugh when I heard his voice broke as he talked.
So someone had wished all the teachers were teenagers again? Who would do that and why? Well, why was pretty obvious - the teachers would have no power over the students at that age. But who could have done this? No one knew I ahd the rock in school, hell no one knew it even existed apart from me and Karyn! It wouldn't have been Karyn, would it?
Well, When I reached my locker, I found my answer.....
