"I wish you would become whatever mean thing you call somebody else, Mike! In fact, I wish that whenever anybody insults anybody else in this town, they themselves turn into that thing instead."
"Oh gimme a break," said Mike just as Jon was wondering if his wish had worked. "Quit acting like such a fairy."
On these words, Mike instantly shrung down to mere inches in height. His hair turned jet black and grew into a fashionably shag girl's haircut. His t-shirt and jeans fused into a thin, transparent red dress. And gossamer wings shot out from his back.
He dropped to the ground on his rather plump, rather cute behind, sending pixie dust swirling about.
"Mike!?" Jon asked incredlously.
"Who's Mike?" squeaked the tiny fairy. "Mike's a silly boy's name!" She giggled.
Jon covered his mouth in shock. He could only imagine how his wish was playing out elsewhere in town.
