"Rules?What do you mean RULES!" Jon said."It's my rock.Granpa gave it to ME!Not you!Why do you get to say what I can and cannot do with MY rock!" Jon said.Normally Jon was not the type to argue with anyone,let alone his mother.In fact,he had no idea why he was so angry now.But for some reason,the thought of his mother restricting the use of the rock was to much.
"Jon,calm down!" his mother scolded."I will not calm down!Give me back my rock!" Jon commanded,and reached for it.
His mother held her arm back,and glared."I wish you would sit down,and be quiet!" his mother said forcefully.Jon was compelled to obey by the power of the rock.
"Well Jon," his mother said."I guess it will be a little longer before your get your rock back.At least until you've learned to respect your mother!"
She looked down at the stone for a minute,and then looked back up at Jon.
A shiver of fear ran up Jon's spine as his mother spoke again.
"I wish...."
