Jon opened his eyes slowly, readying himself for the changes, only, they were not there. He was dressed exactally the same. Jon cocked an eyebrow for a moment and then just brushed it off.
"I guess it didn't work." Jon said to himself. "But just in case, I'll put the stone away for safe keeping." Jon then placed the stone back in the wooden box as he ate his breakfast.
Soon after he was done, he got ready for school, grabbed his books and headed to Karen's house. Karen and him then went off to school, where the day went by with no real exceptions, until the last period bell rang. Jon gathered his books and headed for the door when Karen spoke.
"Jon... where are you going?" she asked.
"Uh... to catch the Bus?" he replied, wondering to himself why she would ask.
"Bus... Jon... There's practice today... You can't ditch practice." she said as she took his arm and lead him toward the Gym.
"Prac... Practice... for what?" Jon aksed her, even though he had a funny feeling what the answer would be....
