"No shit," replied Chad. "Now get out of the way. I have to find that stone."
"Listen to me," said Jon. "I'm not trying to be a smart-ass, I'm trying to tell you something. Wishes change reality. When you were a girl, things changed so you were always a girl. People remembered you being one. There was a whole history where you were born a girl, in order for you to be one now."
"Tell me what I don't know," said Chad.
"I'm not finished," said Jon. "When the wish ended, that also changed reality. You didn't just change back from Charlene now--the past ten months of history changed so that you were no longer Charlene during those months. If, after reality changes, both of us are in the room naked making out, the last ten months happened in a way which led to us being naked making out. I don't know what people remember about those ten months, but we had better figure it out or we may end up really embarrassed...."
