"...and now I'm here today!" Naka finished her story. "Does it make more sense now?" She raised her brow.
"Ummm..not really, you used a lot of slang and talked about a lot of stuff that I have no clue about." Actually, I didn't want to say it, but her story ended up confusing me more. Naka lowered her head, as if trying to search for words.
"Okay, basically, Ixios felt she was limited with her phsyical being. So, she ended up casting her body aside and taking over all the unborn spirits in the world, like a virus. This ensured that anything born from then on would be but a copy, or spawn of her. Aomi was our last hope and the strongest human ever, so she left camp, determined to destroy Ixios once and for all. She used her incredible power to summon every single spirit into one place. Imagine that, its a pain in the ass just to summon one spirit into you, but she managed to summon billions and billions of more spirits than that. All the spirits being compacted into one place reacted and formed Ixios once again. After a long, very intense battle, Aomi grabbed Ixios by the head and transfered all of her own energy into Ixios, which...umm.." Naka looked for the right word, "..which overloaded Ixios and destroyed her. Unfortunatly, this killed Aomi, too." Naka's voice saddened.
"Okay, thats a bit more clear. But...am I going to die, too?" I really didn't want to die at all, and Naka never told me anything about it.
"No, no, no, don't worry. Ixios is still young now, you should be able to overpower her, easy." Naka pushed a strand of blue hair behind her ear. "You got a bit scared there for a second, didn't you?" She said with her trademark grin. "Well, I feel like I'm ready to go on with the next part of the transformation, are you?" She said as she stood up and cracked her fingers. I nodded in reply. This body, although better than being a baby, still made me feel too vulnerable. Especially when in the presence of Ixios, even if she was frozen in time.
"Alright! One transformation coming riiiiight up. You know the drill, down on the ground with you." She watched me as I took one final glimpse at my little body. "Yea, I know you'll miss it, lay down." She smiled. I smiled back. Too bad being a 4 or 5 year old girl didn't exactly make me a chick magnet. I think I was starting to grow feelings for Naka. Entertaining Naka's request, I lay myself back down on the grass and stared up at the same birds that had been hovering mid-flight above us for the past two hours. Naka asumed her meditative position, and once again the tingling swept over my body, numbing me from the world. My mind started to wander until once again I slipped ever so gently from reality.
