My mind almost exploded as thousands of thoughts shot through it at once. My mom was storming towared me, but I couldn't let Stone Julie escape. It could mean the beginning of the end.
"Wait 'till your father hears about this!" My mom shouted. It seemed like time slowed down as I ran through every option. I looked up at my mom and realized that time actually was slowing down. What the heck? My moms movements slowed down to a crawl and as I looked around, I saw everything else was, too. Birds stopped in mid-flight, trees stood completely still, despite the small breeze. I looked down at Stone Julie to see if she was the culprit, but it appeared that she was slowing down, too.
Soon, everything was completely still. The eerie silence was like a ringing in my ears. Slowly standing up, I cautiously looked around for a cause.
"Phew, thought that wasn't going to work for a second, there." A girls voice broke out, startling me. I immediatly turned around behind me to see who it was.
"Oh, didn't mean to scare you, I'm sorry. My name is Naka, we've never meet before." Before me stood a rather attractive girl, probably in her 20's. The strangest thing about her was the fact that she was clad in ornate body armor from her neck down, revealing nothing but her face and blue hair (complete with blue eyebrows).
"Yea, I...I don't think we have." I said. "Who are you? Whats going on?" I was lead into her deep blue eyes.
"Well, thats kind of complicated, but I'll give you the abridged version to both." Naka then continued...
