"So, guys. What should we wish for?" Chad asked.
"I think I have a pretty good idea," Kathy replied.
Jon started to explain to Julie that he'd prefer it if she didn't tell anyone else about the stone. At the same time, Chad picked up the stone to examine it.
"Alright, Kathy. What's that?" Chad asked.
"Well, you know how we've always wondered how ..." Kathy went off. By now, Julie was apologizing for telling Kathy about the stone, as Kathy went on about her wish thoughts.
"Sorry, Kathy," Chad interjected. "I can't hear you. I wish you and Jon would switch places."
Suddenly, the stone glowed brightly, causing all four of them to look away. When they looked back, they saw that Jon and Kathy had switched places, just as Chad said ... and meant. No, they weren't in each other's bodies, which was what Jon feared right after Chad made his wish. They just switched their seating locations.
"Chad! What the hell, man? What are you doing? That wish could have done anything! It could have even switched my body with Kathy's!" Jon yelled. "Give me that thing before you do another stupid thing with it," he said, snatching the stone from Chad.
