"... I do need a new outfit." said Karyn
"No you wouldn't..." Jon started.
"I wish Jon was my new outfit. He will be all of the clothes that I wear. Whenever I think of a different outfit I want on, he will instantly become it." Karyn spoke to the rock.
Jon felt the changes instantly. He now felt as though he had his own body back, but he knew his fate was now one of the worst possible.
"Karyn, how could you be so selfish?" he pleaded in her head.
Karyn frowned heatedly, "Well what else do you want? To be stuck as underwear for the rest of forever? At least this way you'll get fresh air, and since you can change, you won't be sitting in my dresser or need to go through the wash! You know that it was already permenant, at least this way I can always keep you with me, and not... y'know, have to throw you away, or give you to my little sister, eventually, like I would have had to before..." Karyn ended her monologue with a quiet tone, showing both her embarrasment and shame at what she'd already done.
Jon remained quiet for a while, during which Karyn could have sworn that she felt her clothes move just a bit but couldn't be sure. Finally, she heard him sigh in her head. "I guess you're right... I just wish this wasn't permenant... but it is, so I guess I should make the best of it."
Karyn wrapped her arms around her stomach, as if trying to embrace her clothes (Jon), she was almost ready to cry as she muttered an apology, "I'm really sorry, Jon! Really, I am!"
"Hey, it's okay! I forgive you, it was an accident; we both knew the stone was dangerous, and it was my bonehead wish that made me be your underwear in the first place... I just wish I could see, this weird darkness is getting annoying. I keep trying to see, and I feel like I should be able to, but for some reason I can't and it's driving me nuts!"
Karyn thought about it for a moment, then figured that it couldn't hurt anything, "Alright." Grasping the stone, with a (sorta) audible gasp from Jon, she started, "I wish Jon could see."
And suddenly he could.
