Moose was just approaching school when the wish took hold. For the briefest of moments he felt woozy, but then felt better, just as Suzie Crofton crossed his path. Not only was she pretty, but was wearing the shiniest pinkest lipstick Moose had ever seen. His heart skipped a beat at the sight of those luscious lips. He licked his lips and knew full well that his own lips were naked and so unsightly. He felt ashamed at being in public and looking this way. Without giving it a second thought he rushed up to speak to her.
"Morning Suzie."
This struck her as odd, as they normally never spoke. "Moose."
"Suzie, I need a big favor."
"Try me, but it better not be for homework."
"Okay. Could I borrow your lipstick?"
"WHAT?"
"You heard me, could I borrow your lipstick?"
This had to be a part of one of Moose's stupid tricks, but didn't really see any harm coming of it. "Sure Moose, but I need it right back."
"Sure thing Suzie. I owe you one. Thanks."
With that she dug into her purse and gingerly handed it over. Suzie thought she detected a look of relief on Moose's face, as he snatched the tube and took off.
Inside the school, Moose made a beeline for his locker where along with a brush, a bottle of cologne and a bottle of mouth wash, was a mirror taped to the door. Without any regard for those around him or the nagging feeling that this wasn't right, he uncapped the lipstick and began to expertly apply a rich coat. The taste was exquisite, the look even more so, the slippery feel as he rubbed them together heavenly, and the rise of a boner in his shorts was nothing short of painfull. He took note of the brand and the color, to know just what to ask for at the local drug store, which he had every intention of visiting at recess.
News of Moose's strange behavior spread throughout the school like wildfire. The giggling and joking weren't confined to behind his back. Everyone in earshot made it their business to get in a comment, but Moose sluffed them off, knowing he had the prettiest, most kissable lips in the school.
By now Karyn and Jon had made into the building and couldn't help but hear the goings on of Moose. They'd talked on their way to school about both Moose and The Stud, wondering how they'd handle the wishes, but weren't expecting the hysteria of so many students and the staff as well.
"Oh Jon, I think we've under estimated the effects of our wish."
"You could be right, but remember, a wish can't be reversed, and we gave this wish a one month time frame." Without realizing he was still holding onto the stone, Jon uttered those infamous words "I wish..."
