James was about to tell to get the hell out of 'his' house and they would have to talk later, but that is when he heard the sound of the garage door opening.
"Oh my God! Jack's home." James said genuinely panicked. He didn't want to have to explain to Lisa how ruined her marriage by being caught by Jack with Joe half naked in their living room.
Joe was hurriedly buckling his pants and picked up his shirt. He started for the front door to the house.
"You can't go out that way, Jack might get the mail and he would see you." James said.
Jack, still with his shirt off, turned and was making his way to the backdoor when the connecting door from the garage to kitchen started to open. Seeing this Jack quickly darted down the hallway towards the bedroom. He disappeared just out of sight just as Jack came into the kitchen.
"Hi Hon." Jack said with a smile at seeing his beautiful wife.
James smiled back, but felt his heart pounding in his chest like a jackhammer. "How was your day today?" James asked sweetly.
"You wouldn't believe it. They are relocating the office so I am going to have to add anther thirty minutes to my drive starting in two weeks. The drive as it is already sucks, but now I am going to have twice the drive. I have been stressed about this all day."
"You want to go out to dinner or something?" James said hoping to get Jack out of the house so that Joe could leave while they were gone.
"Maybe later, I just want to take a long hot shower right now." Jack said
James watched as he started walking down the hallway towards the bedroom that Joe was hiding. James had to come up with a plan and fast.
