Jon had spent the last hour wondering if wish the Karyn had made at her suggestion was what she really wanted. Well that’s a boy for you she thought. Damm! Jon thought as he replayed his last thought in his head. I did it again. It’s getting worse. Not only had he thought he was really a girl, but he had thought that Karyn was a boy. Something wasn’t right with the original wish that Karyn had made a few days ago.

Why was he thinking that way? Wasn’t the new wish that would only take effect when her mom turned up. He stopped himself halfway to his locker it was happening more often. He needed to get a hold of Karyn to find out if the same thing was happening to her.

He was just about to turn to were “Jon’s” locker was when he heard. “Karyn Honey there you are” Jon turned slowly to see Bethany Black Karyn’s no his Mom after all he was Karyn Black the same girl she had always been. Whatever she wanted to talk to Jon about could wait as she had a wedding to get ready for.

“Hi Mom. I was just putting these books in my locker before I left.” Replied Karyn Black to her mother. She placed the books in her locker and turned to face her mother. “Let’s go I have been looking forward to this weekend for ages. I mean it’s not everyday my cousin gets married.” Karyn told her mom with a smile on her face.

A smile that showed no sign of the inner struggle that had been in the mind of the person who was now Karyn Black.
