"Just wait until you see what is next." Karyn said with a smile.
Jennifer knew that she could wait. In fact, if it weren't for the fact that she had nine more tasks to do before being returned to her male self, Jennifer would gladly have skipped the next task.
Meanwhile, Karyn led Jennifer toward the mall.
Just before entering the mall, Karyn stopped and turned to Jennifer. "Your second task is to try on and buy clothes. You need to be fitted for a new bra, and buy a new wardrobe."
"I can't." Jennifer said. "Neither Mom nor I have that sort of money."
"Ah, but you do." Karyn said, pulling out the wishing rock. "I wish that Jennifer had enough money to buy enough clothes so that she will not have to wear the same outfit more than once during the next two weeks." Karyn then added, "Oh, I wish that I can afford to buy some nice clothes as well."
Karyn then turned to Jennifer and asked, "Ready?"
"Not really, but I guess so. I just have to buy two weeks worth of clothes, right?"
"Ah, not so. A girl doesn't buy the first thing she tries on. Oh, no. You need to try on lots of clothes, that is the fun of shopping."
"Ug." Jennifer said.
"That is not the spirit." Karyn said. Still holding the rock, she added. "I wish Jennifer had a good fashion sense, doesn't embarrass herself (at least not too much) or me, and would have to try on at least five outfits for each one she buys."
Smiling to her friend, Karyn said, "Ready for the fun to begin?"
