Heading down the hallway to the kitchen, Jon was almost knocked over by his little brother Mikey, racing past then shooting up the stairs. "Well he seems normal enough" thought Jon, continuing his way to the table.
"Good morning honey!" Jon's mom smiled, concentrating on the stove, "Just finishing the bacon, it'll be a few minutes"
His goth sister, Zoe, was already there, brooding over a bowl of frosted flakes.
"Morning mom, and Good morning to you too, sis" Jon commented, taking a seat at the table.
"Fuck you" Zoe grumbled.
"Language young lady!" roared Linda, Flipping over a slice of bacon.
"Whatever" Zoe replied, downing the remainder of her orange juice then stomping out of the kitchen.
"No changes there either" Jon thought.
Linda finished and plated up Jon's breakfast, placing it on the table.
"Thanks mo-" Jon froze, staring at his mom. Her chest was flat! And her dress had an extra row of buttons at the top, making the v-neck collar much shallower.
"Everything alright honey?" Jon's mom enquired, picking up on his sudden pause, "You look like you've seen a ghost."
Jon shook his head and looked down at his fried breakfast. "Huh, oh, nothing mom, I'm fine" he started cutting a sausage, trying to process what he'd just seen.
"You sure honey? Alright. If there is something wrong remember you can always talk to me." she smiled, before going about clearing the mess Mikey & Zoe had left.
"So is everyone different?" he pondered, finishing off his sausage and working through his scrambled egg, squirting a little too much ketchup on from not concentrating.
"I guess it could just be me and mom..." he started chewing on a strip of bacon, "oh god, I might have my mom's..." Jon placed his cutlery on the plate and took a swig of orange juice.
"Not eating any more, Jonny?"
"Sorry mom, I think I've lost my appetite" replied Jon, standing up and shuffling his way out of the kitchen, thoroughly grossed out by the thought he might have his mom's 'assets'.
