"You should watch it with those jokes. I could really hurt you if I wanted now," said Karyn.
"You're a were-girl. During the full moon you turn into a girl, or maybe become part girl and part yourself, you start to think like a girl... it doesn't do anything to you. You're just like a normal girl and you are anyway."
"But I'm not!" exclaimed Karyn. "There's one difference."
"What?"
"I can spread it. The curse doesn't change me but I still have it. If I wanted to give it to you I could bite you and then you would become a were-girl." She opened her mouth wide, as if to imitate a monster movie, but didn't show any fangs.
"You really are a were-girl! Those teeth are as long as real girls' teeth!" said Jon.
Karyn growled. Not in a wolfen way, but in a fed-up human way. "Jon, you're just asking to be bitten...."
