'Jon! I'm right here! Please!'
Jon, somehow, knew that his stone was down here. He couldn't remember exactly HOW he knew, but he was pretty sure he was right. The difficulty was... where?
"Now where is it?"
'Jon! Please! You've got to help me! They turned me into a couch!'
Karyn heard the sound of a beanbag shifting, and Jon murmured about it not being there.
'Oh God, Jon, you can't hear me, Jon can't hear me!'
Jon was about to look under that lamp table when his eyes shifted over to the couch, "Oh, there it is. I wonder why somebody put an expensive couch like that down here anyway?" He reached for the stone.
Karyn panicked, 'Oh no! He doesn't know it's me! Oh, I wish he could hear me!'
Jon's eyes sort of... shifted for a moment. 'Wait, I was looking at the stone, and that felt a LOT like a wish being granted... but... whose wish?' Grabbing the stone, Jon backed up and looked angrily around him, "Okay, who's there!?"
'Jon! It's me! Can you hear me!?'
Jon blinked, "Karyn?"
