Suddenly, and without clear cause, the stone lost its ability to affect anything outside of its own universe. The man gasped as he realized what had occured. "Can't control them," he muttered. "There's no force that can..."
"Sir?" questioned one of the other men.
"I'm fine," Daniel snapped. "Doesn't matter," he muttered to himself. "Have control of this world, and that's what matters."
"Sir, I don't think..." began another man.
"Oh, shut up, Trevor," he grumbled. "That goes for the rest of you as well." He had a mission to complete, after all. Or did he? With the stone in his possession, he never had to take orders from anyone ever again. "Screw the old man!" he cried. "I wish that nobody outside this room, save for the owner, would remember anything about the stone."
"Sir?!" they cried with alarm.
"Furthermore," he said, "I wish that everyone but me would lose all desire to use the stone, yet be in awe that I can use it."
"Sir, this is madness!" cried Trevor. "The stone can't even affect Home. He will hunt you down when he discovers what..."
"He can try," he said with a smile. "I wish that I can transform at will to anyone I wish. Also, I wish that nothing on Earth has the power to kill me. Finally, I wish that anyone who thinks negative thoughts about me will fall deeply in love with me and transform into their idea of the perfect woman." He grinned as his former men changed into his new harem. "Follow me, ladies," he said, leading the way outside. "There's a whole world out there for us."
