She heard the phone ring once, twice, three times and then she heard a familiar voice, her voice
"Hi you have reached the home of Jack and Lisa Hamiliton, we're sorry but we're not available at this time, at the sound of the beep if you would like, leave your name, number, or a message and we will try to get back to you as soon as possible." Then she heard a beep and hit the button on James's phone turning it off, before she flung it across the room as she remembered the day, just hours before they left on their honeymoon, when she opened the box that Jack and her received as a wedding present. It was a phone with a built in answering machine.
She remembered both of them setting it up and arguing over who would leave the message. Finally giving in she sat by the phone and after many tries said those exact words into the answering machine on the phone. Then as they listened to the message being played back she heard Jack say I knew you would be better then me at that, you sounded great but her mind was on her words, Lisa Hamilton, and the fact this was her new name which brought a smile to her face. However now there was no smile at those words only a look of concern
"God dam it James where are you?" Lisa yelled as a million possibilities raced through her head.
