Ms Ogletree was quite mad. She knew that the magic of the rock had been used against her. She could see it in the air. Fortunately her new powers had let her survive the crash.
"Skin of toad, Eye of newt,
Let my foe be struck mute!" Ms Ogletree said in a strange sing song voice and magic flowed away from her towards Jon.
Jon smiled as he saw the witch hit the wall. It was somewhat comical. He heard Ms Ogletree's spell and saw the magic speeding towards him on his magic screen. "I wish that all of the witches spells would bounce back on her!"
Flying along on her broom stick Ms Ogletree started to laugh as she realised that her spell would stop Jon from using the stone. Then she was silent. She struggled to make a sound but could not. She was the mute one! She tried to break her spell but could not. Not without speaking. She still had her powers. Other powers. Of will and form. She willed Jon to be a lifeless inanimate stone statue, frozen forever...
In an instant her magic was reversed upon her. Her flesh became stone. The broom continued on with its last command, to go to Jon. Within minutes it arrived and hovered before Jon.
As he looked at the statue of the beautiful woman, Jon smiled. Her clothes were still of fabric but her skin was made of the purest white marble. Her eyes were blank and unseeing.
"I wish the statues clothes were gone," Jon said. And they were. A naked woman on a broom. "Cool," John said. "I wish that this witch knew what was happening to her!"
The statues eyes gleamed with a strange fire. She smiled and started to move!
"Oh shit! I wish -" but then the heavy statue landed on him and pried the stone from his hand.
Jon's mind raced. Could he finish his wish and if he did, would it work? Who was this witch. More importantly, what would this stone woman do to him? And what would Karyn taste like crumbed in bread and deep fried?
Ms Ogletree cast another spell. It would make Jon say her wish. The spell bounced back on her. as planned she started to talk. "I wish that you were my slave!"
Jon said. "- I held the rock!"
There was a flash.
