She was screaming when she woke up. Jack grunted as he rolled over on his side of the bed, "More dreams?"
"Nightmares," Nora sighed, "Things they did to me. DeMorrell. Hurting me."
"Well they won't do those things to you anymore. Not with me here," Jack murmured and drifted back to sleep.
No, Nora thought to herself, recalling Jack "making love" to her the night before, only you do those things to me now.
Nora let Jack sleep. She got out of bed and padded over to some clothes draped on a chair. Her breasts were full again so she slipped into the nursing bra, grateful for its support. Having breasts was weird enough without them being bigger than ever and leaking all over the place.

She was glad for the time to herself, but her breasts were tight and tender and desperately needed milking. Nora got out the pump and started on her right boob after fixing herself some juice and turning on the morning news with the volume very low.

Instead there was nothing, no screen doors banging, not one dog barking, not even the chirp of a bird. Nora got up and checked on the baby. Still sleeping soundly. So was Jack.
She went out onto the porch for a look around. There was an unfamiliar car in the driveway, a silvery gray Mercedes Benz. The door opened. Someone was getting out.
It was a woman. Nora was briefly confused. She had expected DeMorrell himself or at least one of his agents. Instead it was a different shadow from her past...
