Nearly an hour later, in the darkened and "empty" bedchambers that belonged to a recently-deceased billionaire madman, a blue glow began to emanate from the body of Lucius DeMorrell. It surrounded his dead body, then dissipated.
And a moment later, DeMorrell began to breathe once again.
He was alive. He sat up and looked down at his naked body, drenched with drying blood. The wounds had all been healed during his resurrection. Yes, Johann was able to kill him. But that didn't mean that he had to stay dead. And the wishes that DeMorrell made that concerned the raising of his future son prevented his death from being permanent. He would be around for very much longer. Years, in fact. At least as long as it would take to raise his son.
DeMorrell stood up and looked around. Both his murderer and his newlywed wife (and future mother) were gone.
He wondered who he should search for first.
