'Jack' looked up at the redhead with surprise, "J-jon?"
Jon nodded.
Jack chuckled, a tear in her eye, "Well, that explains that much, at least. I knew a wishing stone was too much power to be in one place, and that DeMorrell was exactly the wrong kind of man to hold it. I guess wishing it to be yours didn't help much..."
Jon sighed sadly, "He sent a bunch of shock-troopers to my house..." Jon's lower lip quivered as she recalled what had happened so far, "I tried to deal with them with the stone, but there were too many of them and they used the stone to get me here. And now..." Jon gestured to her body, indicating that this was what had happened.
Jack sighed, unhappy in knowing that the only way she could comfort her new granddaughter was with her presence, as she was also chained to the wall and out of reach of the new girl, "I wonder what he will do with us next?"
Jon leaned against the wall, curling up a bit and cried, hating how her emotions seemed to have lost their old temper. "I don't know if I even want to think of it..." With a realization of just what he could do to her, something that he must have already done to her grand...mother?, her eyes went wide with fear and she found herself crying even harder. "Oh... g-god..."
And, other than Jon's sobbing, all was quiet in the cell.
