The swapper started to smoke and spark, and everyone was headswapped once again, rather randomly. Biff had set random swaps with race restrictions, but nothing else. Cole and April had swapped bodies, as well as Eva and a Hispanic football player. The other swaps were fairly evenly distributed between male/male and female/female, and there had even apparently been more than one swap in some cases. Biff got Karyn's body, while Jon got Sarah's, but Sarah and Karyn didn't get either of theirs.
Biff dropped the swapper on the ground with a yelp, waving Karyn's hands as if it had been very hot. Ted, now on Michelle's tiny body, started screaming at Biff about various things, mostly the cost of the thing and how much it would cost to repair it. Only later did it occur to him that they were stuck that way until such a time as it got fixed or replaced; no one else there had one, and they took a large amount of paperwork to even get one. Swappers were not intended to be playthings, though that was their popular use. Ted had lucked out, and that airhead Biff... Airhead? Biff's a guy, not... whatever. He wasn't in the mood to think, only to yell as everyone watched, shocked, perplexed.
He finally calmed down a while later, shooing everyone back home; no one was in control enough yet to contest it. They simply dispersed after collecting the clothes of their new body. Karyn had gotten the body of one of the football players, though whose was any guess now. They drove back home, and when they got to Jon's house, Karyn asked, "Can I stay here with you?"
"Uh, sure, but why?" Jon shrugged Sarah's small shoulders, getting up out of the car, still wearing the tiny bikini. Sarah's clothes were in the crook of his arm, and he motioned for her to follow, walking up and inside.
"This feels so weird, Jon. I don't wanna go home with someone else's body, I..."
She was interrupted by Jon calling into the kitchen, "Hey, Mom! I'm home. But the swapper we were using sort of broke." His mom turned around, nonchalantly complimenting him on his bikini before continuing her cleaning. Karyn just stared for a moment, only following Jon upstairs when he called her up.
