Jon still did'nt knew what he had to do now with the stone and about the last event of those day(Zoe wish tyo bring magic into this world).
But there were some people who knew what THEY needed to do with the magic in this world. Zoe, when wishing to have magic on Earth, was a little bit careless.
By wishing that she destroyed the best defense of Earth against it's direst enemies. And this defense was exactly it's lack of magic.
Earth, being a godless world, was really coveted by gods from other world seeking new followers to lve from their prayers and some place they might toy with without being annoyed by one of the local "power"(gods). But being essentially made of magical energy, they were unble to enter that world because it lacked magic to sustain them or their minion. But since Zoe's wish, this barrier was no more.
And so, hundred by hundred, powers flocked to this little gem called "Earth" that they coveted for millenia.
And worse, with her wish, Zoe drained the stone of almost all her magic, thus making it not anymore able to match the power of those gods.
Earth was in danger, and for true this time.
