Now it's your turn to be surprised. Karyn is clearly embarassed out of her mind right now, she looks like she's blushing as hard as you. It feels like a lot just happened. A few other students are walking past you on the sidewalk, none of them paying attention to the two of you thanks to your earlier wish. And now that this is happening, before you can come to your senses and stop yourself, you tell her
"Yeah, it would have."
You feel a cool breeze blow past you. Several students pull their jackets a little tighter. You notice for the first time that the sun is starting to go down.
"Jon, would you like come over to my place?"
Hand in hand, the two of you begin the walk to Karyn's house. Sure, you could just wish yourselves there, but where was the fun in that?
She's not talking, just smiling as you turn into her neighbourhood. It's starting to get dark now. Letting go of you to open the door, she steps back and waves you in with a little bow and a smirk.
You've been to Karyn's plenty of times before. It's a tiny apartment that she shares with a roommate, cozily decorated. But now, it feels like you're seeing everything, the pictures on the walls, the old-style rug on the wood floor, for the first time.
Karyn is a lot more direct than you. She locks the door, drops her bag, and pulls you into a kiss.
It's not your first. But this isn't just some crush, this is Karyn. The Karyn you've known forever. Who you've wanted this with for so, so long. And she's currently doing her best to explore your mouth with her tongue, pushing you towards the sagging couch.
It crosses your mind that you don't even really need a wishing stone anymore.
Then start thinking about what you could do with it now, and decide it's worth keeping around anyway.
You pull at Karyn's sweater, and she stops to fling both it and her shirt over her head. She has a white bra on, which is doing a poor job of holding in her generous bust.
"Oh Kayrn, you're going to get waaay more attention than Sarah now."
"Shut up!" She laughs, and starts pulling at the zipper on your hoodie. You reach down and finish it for her, pulling your own top layers off. Now when she lays into you, it's your skin on hers. She's so warm.
You continue to kiss on the couch, your hands gliding past her sides and onto her wonderful hips. She sits up on your thighs, reaching for the zipper on her jeans.
"Karyn?"
She breaks the concentration on her pants to look back up at you.
"Yeah?"
"I love you."
Her face fills with the look she gets when she's about to tease you, but it looks like she quickly decides against it. She reaches to cup your face.
"I love you too."
