Karyn felt sick. She was wearing a long, loose skirt and a shirt with the longest sleeves she could find. She'd also managed to comb the mane on the back of her neck into the rest of her hair so that it wasn't so noticeable. Checking herself in the mirror before she left, she decided she almost looked normal.
From downstairs, her mother yelled "Karyn honey, you're going to be late!" Sighing, she grabbed her backpack and car keys and left.
She managed to slip into her first class just before the bell rang and immediately noticed the furtive stares of her classmates. She made her way to the back row, trying not to look at them. None of these people were her friends now, she knew. They'd all been too afraid of her condition to talk to her in this version of reality.
She couldn't wait until third period when she could see John. At least he would still talk to her.
As uncomfortable as the situation was, she still had hope she could straighten things out. Now that she thought about it, the stone might have just rolled under a piece of furniture in her room. She could tell Jon the truth and have him help her move things around until they found it after school.
At the moment, she was more concerned about the fact her nipples kept getting hard from rubbing against the fur around them. Also, the soft friction between her thighs kept turning her on. It was one thing at home, but at school it was embarassing.
