"You know, sometimes I just wish I could understand my daughter better. She used to be my perfect little princess and loved talking and spending time with me. Now she's in school, dresses like a tramp, won't listen to me anymore, heck, she doesn't even want anything to do with me and it seems we are always arguing. I just don't know what happened with her."
Allison smiled at Peter, he was such a loving father "Well, I'm sure she doesn't dress like a tramp Peter..."
"No, really, you should have seen her little black mini dress and the front was all slit open here." He explained motioning to his abdominal area.
"Sounds like a parachute mini, they are cute, but I think you are perhaps right that it's not standard wear for school."
"Damn right it's not, whatever it is. But she won't listen to me Ali. And I know the boys at school are just going to be drooling over her wearing that."
Allison pursed her lips thoughtfully "Well, I'm sure there's a reason behind it. Perhaps before you launch into an attack about what she's wearing all the time you should try more to find out what her thoughts and feelings are. Then maybe you can understand better why she does it?"
"Yeah... you're right. It's just hard to remain calm sometimes you know? Well, thanks for listening to me rant Ali. Hope your day is going well?"
"Going good so far." Allison smiled in response
"Well, glad to hear it." Peter then looked at his watch. "Ugh, I've got to get going, I've got a truckload of work to get back to. Take care." Peter then left Ali oblivious of the linked wish he had passed on to her and that soon his wish to understand his daughter better would be granted... as soon as it was warped by the next link wisher's wish, Ali's wish.
