He could picture their face perfectly in his mind and then he stated "I choose... Dad!" It made perfect sense, it was dad's unspoken wish that had triggered this whole idea in Mikey's head after all.
Mikey felt very strange as an energy within him seemed to release. He could sense it was now within his father, waiting for him to speak a wish to someone else.

Peter Parker sat in his car, he was having a very frustrating day already. He was supposed to have today off after spending all night at the office yesterday, but they needed him again today for an emergency. Sherry was more than upset about that as she'd hoped to take the day off with him. Of course that probably would have been ruined anyway with Mikey coming down with the flu. And then there was Zoe and the argument about her revealing choice of clothes... god, why couldn't he have a daughter that was normal and treated him like she used to? He really missed his 'little princess'.
"Arrgh! Can people get any stupider!" Peter yelled as an idoit driver cut him off and then slowed down to the speed limit.
By the time he got into work he was more than irritated, and the stale coffee in the break room didn't help. It was at this point one of his co-workers came in to fill up a bottle at the water cooler.
