Officer Kurt Maybourn turned to his partner as he parked the car along the road. "Weren't there reports earlier of a girl wandering around town?"
"Yeah, I think so," Officer Danielle Chase. "Are you thinking this is the same girl?"
"Maybe."
They got out of the police car and walked up to the house.
After knocking, the door opened to reveal a 14-year old girl. "Thank you for coming so quickly, officers."
"Where is she?" Danielle asked.
The girl pointed towards the couch. But the person sitting there wasn't a girl, like the person who called in had said. Instead it was a grown woman. She turned and looked at the cops with a dazed look in her eyes. "Who am I? I feel like no one."
"Does she have amnesia?" Kurt asked the girl.
"Maybe. She keeps saying that she doesn't know who she is."
"Can we have your name?" Danielle asked.
"Sure. It's Zoe Warren."
