The pair drove back to the school, where Jon put Mikey immediately back to work. This time Mikey carried out his tasks with extreme diligence, following Jon's instructions to the letter and fully satisfying his principal each time.
Jon was impressed at Mikey's new work ethic, much more of an improvement than what he was used to. Meanwhile, Mikey was horrified as he robotically carried out every one of Jon's request. He had to find a way to reverse this, though Jon had locked the stone away in one of his cabinets the moment they got back.
After he returned from vigorously scrubbing the bathroom toilets, Mikey found Jon talking irritable on the phone. Jon had aged another few years to his early thirties, quickly approaching Deborah Casey's former age. He also noticed two bumps under Jon's blazer, so small they were barely noticeable even when you were looking for them but still there.
Jon hung up the phone, letting out a distressed sigh and rubbing his temples with his red nails. He looked over at Jon, and suddenly his brown eyes lit up. "Micheal, I know this might sound rather strange or humiliating, but I have something very important I need you to do..."
