Mikey was downstairs watching morning cartoons, when the doorbell rang.
"Mikey, could you get that?" his mom asked. She was in the kitchen, making breakfast.
He groaned and then stood up. After opening the front door, he got a shock. It was Jon. But he was dressed in (Mikey laughed at this) a dress. He was even wearing a corset and fishnet gloves. It looked like Mikey's wish paid off. Jon looked ridiculous.
"Is Sarah here?" he asked Mikey, who made an odd look. Who's Sarah?
"Who is it, Mikey?" his mom asked.
"It's Jon," he answered, almost breaking out in laughter.
"Oh, he must be here to see Sarah," his mom said.
There was that name again. Who was Sarah?
"Are you going to let me in or what?" Jon asked, getting a little annoyed.
Mikey hesitantly opened the door and let his brother in.
"Hello, Jon," Mikey's mother said, walking into the foyer.
"Hello, Mrs. Gibson."
Mrs. Gibson? Why was he calling his mom that? Did he really think that she wasn't his mother? That couldn't be, obviously. It's not what Mikey wished. Or was it?
Mikey stood silent in the foyer and watched his "brother-in-drag" walk upstairs. But after a few seconds, he decided to follow him.
By the time he got to the top of the stairs, however, Jon seemed to be gone. He checked his brother's bedroom, but no one was there. But then when he walked back to his own room, he heard voices coming from Zoe's bedroom. One of them was Jon's, but the other wasn't Zoe's. Could it be that Sarah girl his mom and Jon were talking about? If so, what happened to Zoe? Something strange was definitely going on, but Mikey had no idea what.
