Mikey reached for the stone, then made a wish. Just a simple one.
"I wish I had twenty dollars," he said.
The stone glowed, causing Mikey to look away, and when the glow was gone, he saw that he had a wad of twenty one-dollar bills in his hand.
Mikey was relieved. Even in this state of "non-existence", he could still use the stone if he wanted to.
