Fearing the fate of his sister (his real sister) Zoe, Mikey (now apparently Mikkie) ran downstairs and into the kitchen. He froze in place, watching his mom and his former teacher (now his ... second mom? How did that actually work? Did his mom think the former Lydia Warren was actually a man ... or did they both think they were lesbians?) as they kissed each other. And his real mom just went along with it as though there were nothing wrong.
He looked around frantically, but Zoe wasn't there. And then the sound of the front door closing grabbed his attention. He ran to the window and looked outside. His sister was walking down the street, kind of in a daze. Where was she going?
"Mikey, dear. Come eat your breakfast," his "new" mother called out from behind him.
