Deciding to continue his tracking of the original victim of the wish, Mikey kept the dial on Jon, eager to see his acclimation from brother to aunt. However, just then the bus arrived at school, and Mikey was forced to make his way to his classroom. Once he reached his desk, however, Mikey was free to observe the small television again, as his wish to not be bothered while watching it was still in effect.
Glancing down on the screen, Mikey realized that it must have taken him longer than he realized to settle in, as Jon had already made his way to parking lot of the corporate office he now worked for. As Jon stepped into the elevator, Mikey noticed Jon's darkening hair had grown a bit, and now possessed a luster indicative of meticulous hair care. A moment later Mikey realized that Jon's body now lacked any sort of body hair, save for his eyelashes and a pair of significantly thinner eyebrows.
Stepping out at the seventeenth floor, Jon made his way to his desk, smoothing his skirt out before sitting down. Inserting a headset into one ear, Jon set about making calls and typing away at his computer with his new long nails. As Jon talked incessantly into the the bluetooth, Mikey heard his voice continue to rise in pitch, until it resembled the voice of a mature woman.
Several minutes later, Mikey grew bored, as he could see no immediate changes to Jon after that besides the disappearance of his Adam's apple. Deciding to switch the dial as far as it would go, he saw the displaced young man had finally found a new set of clothing to wear, and was just beginning to change into a black and red Victorian dress. Mikey laughed as the muscle bound young man expertly donned a pair of knee high elevator boots, and applied dark makeup to his face like a pro. The preparations complete, the teenager's continence shifted into its new role, growing dark and sulking.
Testing out the knob on the miniature television, Mikey found that the dial's range had increased, and with a twist the picture shifted to that of a teenage girl in gothic apparel. Mikey recognized her after a moment as one of his sister's friends, Athena, he believed. The girl was now just as listless as the other displaced folk, and she was walking unbidden in the same search for a replacement identity...
