The bus driver momentarily wondered why he had pulled the bus over to the side of the road, but then he shrugged and began driving the bus again, heading towards the elementary school that Mikey formerly attended.
Once the bus arrived, the kids exited the bus. But one of them paused just for a moment to scoop up the stone that was sitting on the floor of the bus. The kid needed something for show-and-tell that day and the stone looked kind of interesting and was good enough for the seasonal event.
