"You know, it's rather ironic that this whole bizarre situation started with a pair of shoes, and now the one thing we don't have is shoes that will fit you", Susan complained staring at her coed husband.
"Don't worry about it, I'm not going anywhere looking like this anyway", Alan objected.
"Like what? I admit the dress is a bit more conservative than most women of your new found youth would choose, but it's not that bad. Fortunately your ears are pierced so you can wear the silver and turquoise dangly earrings I haven't worn since I was your age. They add a younger, saucy flair. Now don't walk around too much without shoes or you'll tear your hose."
"Then why did you insist I wear pantyhose? Which I want to point out feel really strange."
"Because silly, you're wearing a dress."
"Then why can't I just wear pants and flip-flops or something. My feet are only a little larger than yours, I bet I could wear your sandals." Alan insisted.
Susan grinned watching Alan complain. Chrissy had always been overly dramatic and talked with her hands, now Alan had the same mannerisms. With every word, Alan gestured limp wristed, flounced, flailed, pouted, and posed."Now you're just being ridiculous. You can't wear sandals with hose." Susan chastised.
"But ... " Alan sputtered.
"But," Susan interrupted. "That's a good point. Your feet are only a little larger than mine. That would work", Susan said enigmatically as she jumped up and rushed out of the room leaving an even more confused and flustered Alan sitting by her makeup mirror.
Alan waited over 20 minutes for Susan to return to no avail. Mindful of the need to walk carefully, Alan was just entering the living room when the front door opened. Expecting to see Susan, Alan turned and froze!
"Chrissy!? My god it's been ages!" Susan's sister Amy bubbled excitedly. "Susan didn't tell me you were here. God, you look great! How do you do it?"
"I, uh ... how are you, Amy? I haven't seen you for a long time!" Alan squeaked out in fright.
"How am I? God girl, give me hug." Amy said dropping her bag and wrapping Alan in a big hug. Stepping back, Amy held Alan's hands at length and looked her over. Spotting Susan over Alan's shoulder, Amy called out while still holding Alan, "Susan, why didn't you tell me Chrissy was here?"
"Mmmm... I don't know..." Susan replied.
"Nice. And where are we go?" Ami speaked.
