Benny Whitefield had already finished his gardening and was now in his house doing some cleaning. By now, he had aged a bit more, at around 14 years old, and his body started to become a bit more feminine, as his waist constricted a little and his hips widened a bit. And all the fine hairs on his skin had disappeared as well. But he still looked more male than female.
At around 5:20, he heard the front door open. He turned and smiled at the sight of the man who entered. For a very brief moment, he had trouble remembering who the man was, but then it came to him. How could he forget his loving husband Burt?
"Hi, honey," Burt said, smiling, as he was approached Benny. Then he gave the boy a long passionate kiss on the lips, which were still Benny's original male lips.
"Did you have a good day at work?" Benny asked.
"Yeah, I did." He looked around. "Jayne is gone again?"
Benny sighed. "Yes. She went off with those awful friends of hers. God knows what they're doing." About thirty minutes before Edgar came home, Benny began to remember his daughter. It seemed a little strange that he had a daughter, given the fact that he felt so young, but his memories told him that Jayne was indeed his child. And with the memory of knowing he had a daughter came the shame and disappointment of the way Jayne decided to live her life. But regardless of how much she disapproved of Jayne being a ... what was it called again? A cybergoth? ... she was still Benny's daughter and he loved her. But that didn't mean that he didn't want to do everything he could to try to steer her onto the right path. He was thinking of forbidding her to be with her friends, but that might just drive her away even more. Hopefully, this cybergoth thing was just a phase.
"She'll be okay," Burt said. "Now, what do you have planned for tonight?" he asked, smiling.
Benny was momentarily confused, but then suddenly it came to him. It was their wedding anniversary! How could he have forgotten about that? Without knowing what else to say, Benny said "It's a surprise."
"A surprise, huh? I like surprises," Burt said.
Now Benny had to just think of something special to do with his husband.
