Mikey grabbed the stone, intending to make a wish to make it all stop. But before he was even able to say "I wish," his bedroom door opened and a strange-looking girl came in, startling him. He didn't recognize the girl, but she was dressed just like Athena DeVries, a friend of his sister Zoe ... former sister Zoe.
She walked to his dresser, then to his closet, pulling out various pieces of clothing. Then she got undressed right in front of him. Knowing that this must have had something to do with his "musical closets" wish, he picked up the stone from the floor (he accidentally dropped it when the girl walked in) and opened his mouth to say a wish, but then he suddenly lost interest. He absentmindedly put the stone in his pocket, then stood up from the bed, walked past the girl dressed in boy's clothes, and left the bedroom. Then he walked downstairs and out the front door. He vaguely knew that something was wrong, that he shouldn't have left the house, but he had this overwhelming need to go somewhere. He just couldn't stop himself.
In Mikey's former bedroom, Clair Madison blinked, feeling all of her dark gothic thoughts slip away, replaced by the thoughts of a young boy. Suddenly, she wanted nothing more than to play video games and watch cartoons. And for some reason, she felt like she had never been as carefree or happy as she was right now. Weird. She turned and left the room, heading downstairs to get something to drink from the kitchen. For some reason, she felt tired, as if she had been walking across town, but she was just sitting here at home for last hour or so. Right?
