Steve Meadows was heading to the weight room to do some weightlifting (he had to make sure he was fit enough for football ... and the ladies, he thought with a smirk), when suddenly, he was bombarded with a million memories that weren't his own. He remembered being a middle-aged woman named Stacy Whitefield, mother of Jayne Whitefield, that weirdo Goth, and wife of Burt Whitefield.
Having the memories of someone so unlike himself was disturbing to say the least. And it felt so awkward and just plain wrong having memories of loving a man. Steve never had a gay thought in his life. But now, it was hard not to. More than anything, he wanted to forget the life of Stacy Whitefield, but he couldn't.
Vanessa Brewer's mother told her to get to school, but she just couldn't stop eating her breakfast. Like usual, her mom made more than she needed and Vanessa thanked her for it. She knew that she was overweight for specifically that reason, but she didn't care. She loved eating.
"I think that's enough," her mother said, taking away her plate.
"I was almost done," Vanessa whined, as syrup dripped from the corner of her mouth.
"You are done. Honey, I told you this before - you need to stop eating so much. If you don't ..." She paused when she noticed her daughter grabbing her head. "Honey, are you okay?"
Vanessa's eyes went wide, as memories belonging to Vanessa Pierce (twin sister of Clair Pierce) entered her mind. She remembered an entirely different life where she was thin and gothic. It was so strange.
Karl Phillips was getting ready for school, thinking about who he was going to bully first when he got there (those losers always coughed up their lunch money so easily) and decided on Clark Madison, when suddenly he got an intense headache.
And then he remembered being Karyn Black, best friend of Nick Madison. Karl was already somewhat familiar with the Madisons, or rather one specific Madison, but he never thought fondly of them. This was really strange, to say the least, suddenly being very familiar with a family he barely knew just a moment ago.
Even stranger yet was the fact that he had memories of being a girl. And more than anything, he wanted to forget what it was like, fearing he'd turn into a pussy because of them.
But possibly the strangest thing of all was the fact that he now remembered the wishing stone, a magical artifact in the possession of Clark's brother Nick. As unbelievable as it seemed, the stone could grant any wish. Already, Karl was thinking of a way to steal the stone and what to wish for when he got it. Karyn might have been a fairly honorable person, but Karl wasn't. He was used to getting his way and now that he knew of the stone existence and possible whereabouts, he was gonna take it for himself.
