Michelle was hesitant to head to school. Obviously, she had to bring the stone with her. She didn't want anyone else getting their hands on it. But at the same time, she didn't want to lose it either. But as long as she was careful, it should be safe.
She knew she had early cheer practice that morning, but given the circumstances, she decided to skip it. She did, after all, remember what it was like to be Mikey now. And it seemed a little awkward doing cheers, for a boy. She even dressed up in something a little less feminine, but still too girly for Mikey's tastes.
Anyway, she was on her way to school when she noticed a busty glassy-eyed blond girl walking down the street, like she was in a trance or something. Could that be someone being affected by the "musical closets" phenomenon? Michelle decided to follow her.
As Sarah drove to the high school, she thought she spotted two girls she knew: Amber Levine and Michelle Lisle, the latter of the two was one of the "changed". But then both girls disappeared around a corner, out of view.
She shrugged, then continued driving to the high school. She was almost there.
