Zoe really did not want to go to school that day, but her parents were making her, just like the parents of her friends.
As she walked into the gym for the scheduled early morning cheerleading practice, she looked a bit dejected, as did Zelda, Gladys, and Burnice. But could anyone really blame them? They were the "elite" of the school, some of the most popular girls around, and now because of their wrecked plans of vengeance against those freaks ... they had lost their superiority over the masses. To Zoe, this was the worst thing that could happen and she felt horribly embarrassed by it all.
She looked around and wondered where Michelle was. Did she wimp out and skip school? For a moment or two, Zoe was thinking of doing the same. But her parents would kill her.
"Okay, girls," Melissa Smith said. "Let's just focus on practice, okay?"
The other cheerleaders, who were all there waiting for Zoe and her closest friends to show up, nodded at Melissa. The rest of the squad consisted of Amber Levine, Jessica Davis, Allison Wright, and Erika Webber, making ten total.
Zoe sighed, then agreed too. And before long, all ten of them were practicing their cheer routine. But about two minutes into it, Amber suddenly got glassy-eyed and just walked off. No one apparently noticed or cared.
Danny blinked, looking at himself in his bedroom mirror. He was currently wearing what he remembered putting on that morning: a pink tube top with the outline of a heart on the front made with glitter, a white pleated micro miniskirt, and a pair of 4-inch open toe heels. He looked at the clock and was shocked.
"Like, what am I doing here? I've got cheer practice!" he nearly yelled, his voice sounding deep, but with a feminine lilt.
