If everything they said was true, and Joni didn't think they had any reason to lie, then she wasn't really supposed to be herself. Linda knew a bit about magic and the occult, but Joni didn't even think she would believe all of this. Not unless there was proof. But then again, magic did exist. At least, that's what Linda said. So maybe this really could all be happening. But it was so bizarre. That Joni was supposed to be a boy named Jon? That that bitch Zoe was supposed to be a Goth? That Joni's best friend Linda was supposed to be Joni's own mother? How twisted was that?
And then there was all that stuff about a stone and wishes. It was strange, but it all kind of sounded familiar. Like remembering a dream from long ago that had mostly faded from memory. Could it be that Joni knew what that stone was? Or maybe that she was supposed to know? She shook her head, feeling frustrated. She needed to know more about what was happening. So she decided to pay her little brother Clark a visit.
Joni left her room, then headed to Clark's bedroom door.
