Burt McMillian had to wait for nearly twenty minutes outside the DeVries' home before the old lady departed. He slowly approached the building, any chance at being nondescript vanishing as Zelda bounced along behind him. Over the night the former businessman had gone through some major changes, though the wish was far from done with him. He had regained much of his old youth, now looking to be in his mid twenties. His hair had grown out, a straight, platinum blond, reaching down to his smooth thighs. He had gained a deep tan, and his bare midriff revealed a flat stomach. His face was looking just as feminine as masculine, and he now bore a piercing in each ear and his belly button.
He double checked to make sure no one was home, than indicated for Zelda to move in. Though no one in their group could tell where she had picked up the ability, the airhead had somehow acquired the ability to pick locks rather handily. Once they were inside, the pair found their way to Linda's room. Burt sneered at the morbid decor and various trinkets around the room, then set about finding the freak's computer.
"So like, what exactly are we doing here again, exactly?" Zelda asked, poking at a sculpture of a skull sitting on Linda's desk.
"Just planting more shit on those freaks," Burt replied, finding and booting up Linda's personal computer, "Try not to mess with anything." The computer finally loaded, and Burt stuck the flash drive in the modem. Their was no love lost between Athena Duncan and Joni's group, so it didn't take to much enticing to get the loser to make a bogus email exchange between Linda and Joni's accounts, indicating them even further.
As Burt uploaded the file, Zelda looked around Linda's room again. Most the stuff was creepy or gross, though some of it was shiny enough to catch the girl's eye. One accessory in particular struck the airhead's fancy.
"Ohmigawd!" she squealed, pulling a small pendent from an old coffee mug, "This is sooooooo cute! Like, who would have thought Linda would have such an adorable necklace!"
"Put that down," Burt told her, finishing the transfer and shutting down Linda's computer. "The piece of shit is broken anyhow."
"Well, its just the chain, right? That's sooooooo easy to fix. And like, its not that she's going to miss it, y'know?"
"Fine, keep the necklace!" Burt snapped, his voice cracking as he did, "But let's get out of here before that hag comes back or something."
"Okay!" Zelda said, dropping the pendant in her purse and following her friend out the door.
