Nothing that mattered," Jon replied. He had meant to get food on the way here, but he had somehow forgotten. Muttering a curse, Jon rose to his feet and rushed across the cafeteria, his heels clacking loudly. He was halfway to the line when Jon bumped into of all people...
That stupid slut Zoe Sanders who was too busy jabber jawing on her cell phone to pay attention to where she was going.
"Watch it bimbo, you almost knocked me over." Jon said to her, his voice dripping with venom and also a little bit higher pitched althought neither Jon nor Zoe seemed to pick up on the change.
"Like, why don't you stay out of my way you freak so you like, don't get yourself knocked over pasty face." she replied. By now Zoe's hair had changed considerably from it's midnight black and made it's way to a light brown color and showed no signs of slowing down. Also her skin had become much more tanned as if she spent time in a tanning salon.
That comment set Jon off completely and he pushed her backwards towards her friends. "Fuck you preppy bitch. If you didn't have your sheep behind you I'd beat the fuck outta you right now." Jon said in a threatening tone.
The confrontation was now drawing the attention of most of the cafeteria and even some of the faculty had noticed and made their way over to get between Jon and Zoe. "Ok you two just stay away from each other, there's no reason for this to get ugly." one of the teachers said as she escorted Jon away from Zoe.
Once they were a good distance away from Zoe, the teacher let Jon go and told him that if he got anywhere near Zoe again then he'd be sent to the principal's office. Jon just blew him off and took his lunch back over to the table where Zelda was still there eating hers.
"Nice job standing up to that slut. It takes a set of balls to call a bitch out like that in front of the whole cafeteria." Zelda says in congratulations.
Jon just shrugs and begins eating his meal and spends the rest of the lunch period chatting with Zelda about the potential whereabouts of Athena amongst other discussion topics.
Not too long after that the bell rings which means it's time for them to head to the next class they have together and maybe they'll see Athena since all three of them have that class that period.
