Athena and Karyn approached the house, in a hurry.
In the foyer, they bumped into Athena's little brother Mikey. "Have you seen Jen?" Athena asked.
"Jen who?" Mikey asked back.
"Jen, your sister. Duh?"
Mikey frowned, but didn't answer.
Athena shook her head, then pushed past Mikey. "Come on, Karyn." As they headed up the stairs, Athena said "We better search her room for it while she's not here." She checked her watch. "But we better hurry."
They checked Jen's bedroom thoroughly, but ended up not finding anything.
"Are you sure Jen's the one that took it?" Karyn asked.
"No. But it was my best guess."
"Well, if she didn't take it, then who did?"
Athena had no clue. But she wasn't going to give up.
